Today I'm asking what is a prime lens? These are the advantages and disadvantages of using a prime lens which is a lens with a fixed focal length. This has advantages and disadvantages in photography when taking a photograph. I sometimes shoot with zooms, however, a lot of the time I will shoot with prime lenses, especially when the subject is static, I take photos with two camera bodies or if I need my camera to excel in low light conditions!
