Cylinder 5 misfire смотреть последние обновления за сегодня на .
The FIXD wireless OBD2 scanner and free app for iPhone and Android translates your check engine light into plain English so you can rest easy. In this video, we explain what OBD2 code P0305 means and possible causes. P0305 means cylinder number 5 is experiencing misfires. A misfire occurs when an insufficient amount of fuel is burning in a cylinder. The efficient burning of fuel is essential to engine operation as the combustion of fuel is what provides the energy to power the engine. A misfire from one or more cylinders can be caused by many reasons from a faulty ignition system, fuel system or internal engine failure. When P0305 occurs, it should be fixed immediately as long term driving with engine misfires could cause consequential damage to your engine. Many times, P0305 occurs when there are worn-out spark plugs, spark plug wires, or a faulty ignition coil. Want to learn more? We have a 2008 Ford Explorer that the customer complained of a misfire (jerking under a load) and a check engine light. After first checking for codes we found a P0305, P0316 and a P1285. The next step to the diagnostic process was a visual inspection. Since the P0305 was the first code and a cylinder #5 misfire we use the process fuel, fire and compression. The coil, boot and plug was the easiest to check first and upon inspection we found the boot saturated with engine coolant. Also, the coil and spring also shown signs of coolant intrusion. This was a big give away to our problem. If no coolant had been evident then we would have proceeded to check for spark, fuel then compression. Not all diagnostics are this simple and quick. This video will not show how to verify defective coil but that can easily be done simply by swapping ignition coil from Cyl number 4 to cyl # 5 if you want verify misfire moves from cyl #5 to cyl #4. The coil I replaced is aftermarket ignition coil purchased from Canadian Auto Parts Supplier (CAPS) for $76 taxes in. The spark plug in this car has been replaced 65,000km ago. Spark plugs should be good for well over 100,000km. I pulled spark plug #5 just to inspect as precautionary measure for any anomaly like physical damage , carbon built up or oil residue. Spark plug is in good condition

In this video I diagnose an apparent engine misfire using the Autel MaxiCheck Pro. It displays a code P0305 Cylinder 5 misfire. I change the coil pack to a used unit I keep in the trunk and test-drive to confirm the misfire is gone after erasing the code. I also observed on an earlier drive that the rear left brake was hot from an improperly adjusted parking brake shoe. After readjusting the shoe off-camera and completion of the test-drive, I check brake temperature using an infrared thermometer.
