Disneyland's Annual Passes are known as "Magic Keys" and in this video, I give you guys my honest review after buying the Inspire level. At the time of this video, we would have had ours for 1 month already and there are some pros and there are cons to owning the magic keys. For one we are getting our money's worth because we go so often. We make reservations every time we go to the park, so we always have 6 slots or reservations made. This way we go all the time. The cons to Magic Keys is we spend more money every time we go. So yes, we are saving money on the front end but in the long haul, we are buying more items and Disney Merch because we go so often. Are you curious why Disneyland's Magic Key is paused at every level? Let's review the Disneyland News and better understand why no one can purchase a new Magic Key or renew an existing Magic Key at the Disneyland Resort? For the time being, Disneyland has stopped selling its last remaining tiers of Magic Key passes, indicating that the park no longer sells annual passes. The sale of all yearly passes at the Disneyland Resort has been halted as the theme park seeks to reduce crowding at the start of the popular summer travel season. Passes flew off the digital shelves when they first went on sale in early 2021, but it wasn't until late October 2021 that the top-tier Dream Magic Key Pass "sold out" and was no longer available. According to Disneyland officials, the $649 Enchant Key and the $399 Imagine Key are no longer available for purchase as of Tuesday, May 31. Last August, the Magic Key program was launched with four price categories; the $1,399 Dream Key sold out in late October, and the $949 Believe Key did the same in late November. Magic Key passholders will be allowed to renew their passes to some extent, however details on renewals will be published at a later date, according to Disney officials. Magic Key holders can continue to use their passes to make park reservations, subject to their pass's blockout dates, and to get discounts on food and goods, among other things. Disneyland's yearly pass scheme terminated in January 2021, while the park was closed for 412 days due to the COVID-19 epidemic. The yearly pass program, which allowed passholders to visit the park on any date that their pass was valid, contributed to the park's overcrowding. For a while now, there has been a rumor circulating that Disney will not renew Magic Keys. The Believe and Dream Keys, in particular. Is there any truth to the rumor? If that's the case, what does that signify for Magic Keys' future? It may seem horrible, but is it really as bad as we think? The Disneyland Magic Keys are currently unavailable, but they will be available again soon. Magic Keys have recently become unavailable for purchase. Right now, you can't buy a magic key. And Disney hasn't said anything about it. However, this does not have to be terrible news for yearly pass holders. This could even be a good indicator, based on recent experience.
