Overview of the Blackmagic Design Smart Videohub 40x40. This is a 40-input, 40-output SDI video routing switcher, which allows redirection of any video source to any video destination, and supports SD-SDI, HD-SDI, 3G-SDI, and 6G-SDI. I didn't make it clear in the video, but my one wish for the SVH is that it could allow you to see video sources without routing them. Currently, to view a video source it has to be output to a destination, and you choose that destination to view it. In my mind it makes at least as much sense to have the option to view by source as well.
I have now owned the blackmagic design pocket cinema 4k camera for over two years. It's a fantastic digital cinema camera, regardless of how cheap it sells for. Th eky features of the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K are a 4/3 image sensor with 4096 x 2160 resolution and an MFT lens mount, allowing you to capture wide dynamic range, Hollywood quality, digital film images in the palm of your hand! It’s an extremely advanced and affordable high end digital film camera. The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K features a native sensor resolution of 4096 x 2160, while the 6K models have a native resolution of 6144 x 3456. Whether you’re shooting in bright sunlight or in almost no light at all, the 13 stops of dynamic range with dual native ISO up to 25,600 provide stunning low noise images in all lighting conditions. Multiple Resolutions and Frame Rates. The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera can shoot in all standard resolutions and frame rates from HD up to DCI 4K. You can shoot stills at 8.8 megapixels on the 4K model. For higher frame rates on the 4K model you can shoot up to 60 fps 4K DCI at 4096 x 2160 and 60 fps in Ultra HD at 3840 x 2160. You can even shoot 120 fps in 1080HD. Couple with the right accessories this a digital cinema still out performs many other cameras on the market. So is it still worth buying? Absolutely. Introducing a new model to the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera family, Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K G2. This new model includes an adjustable touchscreen screen for easier framing of shots, a larger battery for longer shooting without needing to charge or change batteries, as well as support for an optional electronic viewfinder. This new 6K model also has the latest generation 5 color science which has previously been available only in the 6K Pro model, as well as retaining the same features as the previous model including Super 35 HDR image sensor with 13 stops of dynamic range, dual native ISO of 25,600 and EF lens mount. We also released Blackmagic Camera 7.9 Update which adds the ability for all Pocket Cinema Cameras to record the camera motion sensor metadata to Blackmagic RAW clips. This means you can record data from the gyro sensor into a Blackmagic RAW file to stabilize your handheld footage, just like a built in steady cam. This update also adds support for a new user interface which includes sliders for adjusting focus assist intensity as well as improved lens and autofocus performance for Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, 6K and 6K Pro models. This update also adds support for Blackmagic Design Zoom and Focus demands to Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K, 6K G2 and 6K Pro models.
